Professional Experience
Metropolitan College - Web Coordinator
- Transitioned organization from a paper-based system of tracking and records management to an almost entirely web-based and automated system. Transformation included the design and development of an intranet portal, ticketing system, web-based student tracking and management system, and public web-based orientations and resources for students.
- Developed and maintain web-based tracking and management system for career center. System is actively used to manage resources and services for 8000+ clients in the Louisville area.
- Interpret and translate end user needs into program design specifications for the development of various applications
Kentucky Council on Economic Education - IT Consultant/Web Developer
- Developed an online application for creating and administering pre/post testing. Utilized by 400+ teachers and 10,000+ Kentucky students.
- Developed and coded an automated assessment analysis module to analyze test questions according to standardized item analysis techniques. Module is used to aid in the improvement of test items and the interpretation of test results.
- Developed and maintain the online “Econ Challenge”, a web-based, state-wide economics challenge used annually by Kentucky teachers and students.
